From Las Vegas take I-15 north about 15 miles to State Route 604 and take Exit 58. The trailhead is to the right on Clark R. Petersen Blvd.

Specific to Nellis Dunes OHV Area
- This sits beside an active Air Force base. Respect every boundary and closure sign, the restricted ground next door is not somewhere to stray.
- It is busy. Being the closest riding to Las Vegas means crowds, mixed abilities and rental traffic, ride like someone is coming over every blind crest.
- OHVs from 1976 onward must be registered. Non-residents may ride on a valid out-of-state registration, but check current rules before you travel.
