Full agency description
Escondido Draw is 3,400 acres high on the draws of West Texas near Ozona, off I-10 roughly halfway between San Antonio and the Permian Basin. It runs 35-plus miles of single track for dirt bikes and another 23-plus miles of scenic trail for ATVs and side-by-sides. Like Barnwell it is run by the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition, so it is a gated weekend park rather than open country — Thursday through Sunday only — and it is the more developed of the two on the camping side, with full-service RV spots, showers and restrooms.

Which town you fill in depends entirely on which way you are coming.
️ FROM THE EAST on I-10 — San Antonio and that side — it is OZONA, the park's own postal town
24 HOURS: the Sunoco at 1206 Avenue E (also listed as 7-Eleven) and the Sunoco at 1309 Ave C
️ Everything else shuts — Valero at midnight, the Del Rio St forecourt 11PM–midnight, the I-10 Sunoco at 11PM
🚚 The Sunoco at 3331 I-10 sits on the interstate itself — easiest in and out with a trailer
️ FROM THE NORTH OR WEST — Midland, Odessa, Fort Stockton — it is IRAAN on TX-349
Allsup's/ALON on 6th St, 24 hours
🚚 Quarles & GASCARD at 206 W 6th St is commercial fuelling — diesel and space for a rig
The NB Iraan rest area on the I-10 service road is 24 hours and well kept
️ DOUBLE LISTINGS ARE RIFE OUT HERE.
Sunoco/7-Eleven share an address and phone; so do Sunoco/Stripes on Del Rio St, and Allsup's/ALON in Iraan.
Six Google pins, three actual forecourts.
Empty country either way — fill before you leave the interstate.
One Iraan review reads "great stop if you forget to refuel in Fort Stockton," which tells you what the alternative looks like.
